Whitman Nat Park Blue Folder Vol 1 2010-2015 (Official Whitman Coin Folder) The outside cover says the slots inside will hold Quarters from 2010-2015 but the inside slots are marked for quarters from 2016-2021. Obviously cover does not match inside content
I bought the entire collection of these folders that is available at the moment. They all arrived within a day of each other, as expected. New users may think they seem small but they are a very compact and inexpensive way to keep your coins organized. A great tool for the beginner or the experienced coin collector. Be sure to lay the binder on a flat, hard surface like a desk or kitchen counter when entering your coins and you should have no problems.
This is a great folder, and gives spaces for each year's national park quarters and both mints. My problem with this is that very few of my quarters actually fit in the folder. With all the prying and pushing that I put into it, the coins just don't fit! Maybe it's just my specific folder, because I have numerous other Whitman folders which hold the coins beautifully. The one that I received, however, doesn't work like it should.Update: I found that by hammering in the quarters after they've been placed, they will sit flush to the folder. This requires more effort than just putting them in normally though, and may damage the coins.
I have several of the Whitman folders and have been very satisfied in the past. Unfortunately, this particular folder is not working as well. The cut outs for the coins are too small and I've nearly punched holes in the backer paper trying to fit them. Whitman needs a better quality control process to ensure the die cut is the appropriate size.
What can I say?...nice folders that I use to find at book stores and wal-mart...love that keeps us connected to everything. I wanted these to match the ones I already have. Good company to do business with.
It's just what I wanted! It matches the Vol ll Nat Park folder that I ordered at the same time and also my state quarter folders that I've had and been using. It also has space for all the Philadelphia and Denver Mint quarters.
Holes are a little tight but the coins fit with enough force. They did show up bent but was able to bend the book back
I have several of the older penny collections from Whitman that my mother worked to fill for many years. I am happy to see they are still built with the same quality and consistency that I had hoped to see.
