I wish that the flip side with the word written in french had a phonetic version of how to say the word. Not sure if these are outdated, some of the words like "franc" are probably not used much.
These are good. They are organized by topic and help you focus on one area of vocab at a time. But they would be a lot better if they had pictures of the word you are learning and the phonetic pronunciation for each word.
I would only recommend for someone who studies French on an intermediate level.
Exactly what I was looking for. Liked the vocabulary and categorization. I do not know enough about the language to catch any mistakes but good as far as I know.
Exactly what I was looking for! I'm at an intermediate level, but struggle somewhat with vocab. This was perfect. Cards are a little thin as other reviewers have noted, but I didn't find it to be a problem.
I'd have given them a 5-Star if the cards included how to pronounce each word. They are new words to those of us who purchase this. New words to a foreign language... do you really expect people to already know the accents and pronunciations? This basically helps you learn how to read, but nothing to help you speak what you're learning.
Those are nice and easy to use with one student or with a full class. Pair students by 2 and have them quiz each other.
Easy to use. Seems to provide a good starter vocabulary. Only wish they had included pronunciation cues.
