A fine book for everyone from beginners to experts written by people who really know their Primulas. It covers all the kinds of Primulas we CAN grow, and how to grow them well. Not just a picture book, it's filled with really useful information, history and guidance for successful cultivation.
Like the others in the Plant Lover's series, this has everything most gardeners would like to know about Primulas. I was not as wowed by the photography as I was with some of the others in the series, like Dahlias, Sedum books which made me want to run out and buy every plant shown. Some of the photos looked quite dated but on the plus side it's forcing me to be more selective with these.
There is lots of information about growing, cultivating which i haven't even gotten around to reading because i was in heaven just looking at all the gorgeous photographs of all the different kinds of Primulas. any interest in Primulas, definitely buy this beautiful book.
