5 star book definitely! I loved it! I loved it! It is a cute dog story for sure I know!
I cried through the whole thing. It was sad then happy then sad then happy. I loved it. It was great
I'm a dog lover and would do anything for my 4 legged friends. I could never see my self without a dog in my life.I will suggest this short book to all my friends and family who also loves dogs.
Very reasonable priced. It started out sad but ended up very good. It's a very good story to remind everyone that Puppy Mills should not be allowed. And also that dogs that have been mistreated or abused can still be wonderful pets-it just may take some time for them to become trusting!
I chose this rating because it was an amazing book. What I liked about the book is that Bailey was able to be free with a nice loving new family.I would recommend this book to my friend Gabby because of how she loves happy endings.
I love this book,it's really sad my dad read this nook too and he loved it I think it's a really good book
I found some cute canines on the front of several books, and I got them thinking I would find some cute, "feel good" stories. Not so much.As with the last book I read (actually short story), this book was too simplistic. Again, I understand it is for children, but I also agree with the reviewer who thought it would have to be read to younger children, and it is too simple for someone old enough to read it for himself. While the story has a happy ending it just wasn't worth the journey to get there. Yes, I am glad things worked out well for Bailey, but it was too far fetched. Everything had to fall in place just right for the Great Escape to actually have worked. Not very realistic. And, yes, I know this is fiction, but it still has to be believable to work. It wasn't (believable), and it didn't (work). Still, if you want to read it, it DOES have a happy ending, and you will want to see things work out for Bailey and his family. Good news is that it won't take very long to read.
I will recommend this to all..I can't wait to read this to my grandkids..the can learn a few good lessons from this book. Thank you. Cashew
