I chose a 5 star because the,story appealed to my sense of ownership. I have,always had pets both cats and dogs. At one time I had,5 dogs and 2 cats. They all got,along together our rather small house.everyone of then was a rescue in one way or,another One little girl, a ten and white German Shepard was found standing in the middle of the road in a bad thunderstorm. I was lucky to have Arnold station wagon at the time Another woman stopped to help me pick her. up and put her in my car. She had been very abused and,was terrified. It took months of love,and tenderness get my Pretty Girl out of the corner. I have photos of her finally Learning to play. It was,worth it.
I enjoyed this story. It was truly a warm loving story of how a puppy who felt like it had been abandoned as some old toy and forgotten and how he eventually gets his dream of a forever home with lots of love. I recommend this ebook for all ages and especially for those who love to read an a rescue stories and that loves animals. I had read a sample of it and then paid a small price to buy it. And was not sorry for taking this step of faith of it being a great short story.And here is my honest review after having just read it. Great work Kaleigh! By Angela
I always enjoy a good story about dogs This was told from the dog's point of view. I definitely recommend it. Great for any age.
very cute dog story. Dog lovers will appreciate this and also anyone who has rescued a dog. I did and they really do appreciate a forever home after having a bad first home or no home. They truly only want to love and be loved. Life is so much sweeter when you have a dog.
This is a story told by a dog who is unhappy at her home where she is neglected and mistreated. She and some of her animal friends go in search of a forever home where they will be happy. A good book for dog lovers.
It is short and sweet, but one that tugs at your heart immediately. Please bring on the rest of books.
Absolutely adorable story. Perfect light bedtime ready. Will be reading the entire series for sure. Some of the people giving it low reviews by saying "story is great, just short" makes no sense. tells you the page length before you purchase and it is in the SHORT READS section. So I don't think that is helpful or fair. Mills does a great job getting you emotionally attached to Bailey even in this short period of time. Absolutely wonderful!
This tale of pups looking for their forever home is especially good for young readers. While teaching youngsters to read, this sweet short story teaches them the importance of caring for animals thoughtfully, with love and kindness always.
