This little book is not worth the digital ink it takes to display it. And whoever Edwin Crane is, I suspect his real name is Wu Hu or Svengali Sorenson or Raja Minihahajani because English is not his native tongue or hand. The book can be read in about ten minutes and doesn't give you any information you couldn't already have gotten from  ads, product descriptions, or the minimalist printed material that comes with the Echo. If there's any way I can get back the few bucks I paid for this sorry excuse for a book, I will. Don't make the same mistake I did in buying it.
This is nothing more than a brochure. I am really disappointment that I paid $2.99 for this information which should have been included with the product.
This is a very lame guide to Echo, written more like an advertisement than a manual. The author's English isn't very good -- sounds like he isn't a native speaker. If the content was good, this wouldn't matter, but as it is, the book is a waste of money.
This book explained what an Echo can do but it did not explain how to do it. For example I want to hook up my notes app to the Echo. The book says it can be done, but doesn't explain how. Since no user manual came with my Echo, this is pretty important.
My sister has just purchased an  Echo a week ago and while I was at her home, i was amazed by this gadget. Of course my sister showed off her new toy to me, and I admit I was a little envious that time. The gadget is pretty impresive and looks good to boot. I wanted to have one for my own home too. I already own a Siri actually, but i want to try this  Echo. Been hearing good reviews about it. So here I am, I purchased this book to help me get to know more about Alexa. It helped...a little. I can see much of information here on the user manual also. But one thing i like is that I get to know about the Echo pen. However, I might just stick to my Siri. But make no mistake,  Echo is great for home use, as it is supposed to be.
The web site said it was free then I found I was charged $2.It gives you a list of things you can do, but does not give you any info how to do them.Way out of date!
Like others, I found this book worthless - a poorly written sales puff. I'm amazed that  let it escape. Of its 4 chapters, only Ch. 3 provides any useful information. It is inaccurate and inconsistent - e.g. In one place it states (correctly) that one has to buy the remote separately, but elsewhere one is told that the remote comes with the Echo. The Echo sells itself. It doesn't need this sort of "help".
This is a short book to get readers interested in the  Echo familiar with its robust features in addition to the usual specs. The chapter on things to do with the  Echo is helpful to assist the reader in determining whether this device will aid them with their productivity efforts. The formatting and editing can be improved upon to make a good book a better book.
