Lynette Anderson is my favourite quilting/embroidery designer.Her designs are always sweet, with colours so well combined that it's a pleasure to work with.This book offers many beautiful options, that can be used not only on spring.A must have for who likes primitives with a touch of whimsical joy.
Perfect for someone new to hand embroidery and sewing (Night Owl Purse) or with a slightly more modern style, looking for sweet delicate projects (Dreaming Tree Journal). Lynette's projects can be simplified for the beginner or become great add-ons for those more experienced sewers needing ideas to complement their own designs. Her instructions are clear, easy to understand and visualize. Her style is consistent to other books she has written (Stitch It For Christmas) so if you like her style you'll be pleased.
I waited for months for this book to be released for this so-so book. But then again, I guess I'm just not much of a Lynette Anderson fan - all her books are pretty much the same. It's my own fault - don't know what the fuss is.
Really love her style and easy to follow patterns. Also have shopped her website. She is an ozzy - "Down Under".
