This is a very thorough book including many different applications for polymer clay as well as tools, techniques, etc. As an experienced clayer, I did not find anything new in this book and have seen much of what is covered in other books and on-line. However, if you are a starting out in the craft, it is a great resource to have.

This book is a great resource for the beginning polymer clay artist. The illustrations are clear and inspirational. I've gotten many great ideas from this book as well as all the technical info I need to purchase supplies.

This book covers just about everything you ever wanted to know about polymer clay and how to use it. It's not just about jewellery but covers topics such as mosaics, sculptures and the brilliant versatility of polymer clay in so many areas.

Having recently started playing with Polymer Clay, I purchased several books and this one is by far my favorite. If you want to make beads, this book has clear instructions for every type. I would recommend it to anyone just starting, in fact I purchased a second one for a friend.

If you're just beginning to get into Polymer Clay this book will show you techniques and ideas you've never dreamed of. Loads of inspiration and tips that make what looks impossible to do quite achievable.

This would be a great book for beginners in polymer clay. As an experienced clayer who already has a library of polymer clay books, I found it did not add to my knowledge. I am returning the book.

I saw this book at a local craft store for full price & knew if I came to I could find it for lots less. It was a great deal from a fantastic seller. Wonderful ideas for lots of Polymer Clay techniques. I am a newby, & this gave me fantastic inspiration! Detailed instructions but lots of pics to see what you might want to try your hand at. Take a chance & get it. If you don't like it, you can always resell it on ebay!!

This book is well illustrated but most of the techniques are incorporated into projects I wasn't interested in and some very important layering techniques were not shown. I was also looking to replace a book I had on clay "formulas" for imitating various types of semi-precious stones and other materials. I would recommend "Making Polymer Clay Beads: Step-by-Step Techniques for Creating Beautiful Ornamental Beads" over this book. It is also well illustrated but covers most of what I consider to be the important techniques for working with Polymer Clay.
