This is a small booklet loaded with information. It has been really helpful now that my husband has built me a large greenhouse. Anyone that wants to start plants from scratch needs this booklet.
Most of gardening is just common sense, but the problem is, it is common sense only after the new gardener learns them.Starting seeds indoors is basically just common sense, but as someone once observed, common sense is not very common! This pamphlet takes a potentially complicated process and strips it down to its basics. If you are serious about gardening, you will very soon want to get a head start on the summer growing season, and that will mean starting seeds in flats in your basement or elsewhere while the great outdoors is still winter-hostile.Complicated? No! Are there tips that are helpful to newbies? You bet! A half hour spent browsing through this pamphlet can easily save many hours later. I recommend it to you.
I like this little booklet and I considered getting it for the kindle but I'm glad I bought the paper version instead. It is easier to find what you're looking for.Good information on a variety of seed topics.I keep it in the magazine rack and page throught it often.
Great shipping and great booklet.I did not realize what I had been doing wrong until I read this booklet. Good grief are there ever a lot of ways to mess up. This booklet helped me identify a lot of things I have been doing wrong.
Did quick read and find the series i bought along with "Starting Seeds...." to be helpful. It wasn't like: it's too overwhelming". It's a handy size i can carry and review anytime, so i rate it a 5 (i love it). I think this is an interesting challenge.
seems like most of this info would be available on the web out there somewhere... but they do give some nice "pro-tips" so to speak as well as ideas for designs and such.they are cheap, informative and will make great stocking stuffers for certain friends... i use them to fill up orders so i can get free shipping!
A clear and concise pamphlet on how to grow plants from seeds.Another solid how to do it book for the home gardner. It deals with starting flowers and vegetables indoors from seeds. Starting them from seeds will allow transplanting later of larger, healthy plants.
Handy guide to doing it right in your garden. Good information to set you on the right path to a viable garden. No regrets, I do recommend growing your own veggies and herbs, to avoid GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) which are bad for our health! Grow organic and be healthier!
