This book is intended for architects but structural engineers will find it useful to see how structural theory is applied. The book focuses on ideas rather than hand calculational methods. It should be viewed within that context. You will not learn structural engineering from this book.
This is an excellent text book for Architecture students, about structural systems. This book is an indispensable reading for undergraduate. Is complement for understand reinforced concrete, steel and wood constructions.
Good guide to structures, and a lot of helpful diagrams that fully explain and communicate the ideas and concepts of the reading.
