Great book for those that either can't or don't want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding. This takes some of the nervous panic out of planning by teaching you how to slim down on the budget but still keep all the things you need and maybe even a few of the things you want as well. By putting an emphasis on prioritizing items. By walking you through the steps.
Decent book on budget wedding planning if it's the first one you've read - otherwise, there's a lot more titles out there that provide more information and detail about HOW to actually save money. This one is more about the idea of saving money (i.e., deciding what is most important to you, cutting non-needed stuff, not getting sucked into wedding hype) than actual suggestions. There was an interesting section about seeing if family would help you out and making sure you didn't get trapped in the "I'm paying for this" argument, as well as one about being realistic about what YOU in your situation can DIY. Lots of direction to the website.It was free, however. If you're looking for more concrete suggestions, there are plenty of other titles out there but if you're just trying on the idea, this one is worth having a look at.
I originally bought the book because I needed to know what was going on in the wedding world and I needed to be able to have one that was in my budget. This book was great in making it clear how I needed to approach the wedding and made the conversations with my wife-to-be so much easier. Overall, it was a quick, fun book that even made me chuckle out loud a couple times. A great buy for those that need to get their ducks in a row.
For every couple planning a wedding this is the book you want to have to help you navigate the planning process. It guides you A to Z in a well thought out, organized manner that gives detailed ideas and recommendations. You can have the wedding of your dreams without breaking the bank. I thought the timeline "to do" list is a great way to keep things on track and less stressful.

I got this and the previous book from the author for free to read and review. I love that they are small and easy to read with suggestions I can follow easily. Can’t wait for the next step!
