The concept covered in this book, shorts to power, helped me to solve a problem with a gas furnace just yesterday. It also inspired me to take another look at a strange wiring issue connecting and affecting three devices on three different circuit breakers.The content is very basic, but sometimes that is all that is needed. It contains some unusual grammar and the content is a little repetitive. The book could use refinement, but it can be useful as is.
I'm a 10 year auto technician, and I work on advanced electrical systems daily. This book is a good beginners guide for finding shorts. Few typos, but overall good read.
Author leads the novice through a set of logical steps to identify shorts to ground and shorts to power.
It is great for helping me remain current (pun intended) with wiring issues.
I expected more but did have good coverage about electrical shorts.
