I bought this thinking that it would help me form some ideas about what I want my wedding to look like. I was already overwhelmed with the amount of decisions and pressure, as well as cost, associated with the wedding magazine message of "surprising and delighting your guests while being the coolest DIY bride in the most unique and picture perfect setting with creative personal touches." This made that worse.If you flip through bridal magazines with your mouth ajar going "HOW MUCH DID THIS COST!?" this book is not for you. It is, in fact, a giant, panic-inducing list of all the things you will not think about for your wedding, and everyone will still love you and your fiance and your wedding anyway. If you just want some practical advice about how to have a fabulous and fun wedding without blowing your budget, LOOK ELSEWHERE.Also, the list of the styles shown is very small, so even if you have endless time and budget, make sure the style you are looking for is in the book.
I got this book as an early Christmas present from my fiance and I was blown away! The book is gorgeously made and includes photos, tips and how-to's from some of the most fabulous weddings I've ever seen. I am a huge fan of SMP's blog so I just had to have this book and it didn't disappoint. Makes a great gift for all those daydreaming brides out there -- highly recommended!
Love this book for the visuals but sometimes it felt like planning a soiree like this wasn't for the budget conscious. Beautiful ideas and presentation but some of these don't seem feasible for those looking to have a great party without spending a small fortune. It definitely follows the visual identity of its parent blog, Style Me Pretty.
Every page of this book is breathtaking. I was an avid reader/drooler of Style Me Pretty as a bride years ago and this book does not disappoint. Fresh weddings, ideas, styles and inspiration galore. Bravo SMP!
Great book and the cover picture is what got me. Was looking at this for my wife for our wedding. Had a great selection of pictures and helped us with choosing the flowers we wanted to go with on our wedding day. If you are getting married its a great book to have.

This book has lots of great ideas for the modern bride. My daughter wants something a little different and this has given her great pictures to show the florist, caterer, friends, etc. Our florist even got the name so he could get one.
This book is full of pretty pictures and I thought I'd enjoy reading it on my Kindle (since I read SMP every day on my computer), but the formatting is not great electronically. I wish I purchased the hard copy.
