After being out of the superentendent side of the business for a few years this book brought me back up to speed. The text is well written and easy to understand. I recommend it highly for anyone who needs a book "just to be sure"!
this is a very good book for students entering the turfgrass management. definitely whole lot cheaper than the college bookstore.
This book went with my entry level class into Turfgrass Management and I have to say it just about covers all you need to know about turfgrass and the practices used to maintain it. I certainly recommend this book to anyone in the turfgrass industry and all students.
This book is very specific about every type of grass. I wish I knew how detailed this book was before I bought it. You could use it for a college textbook. If you need to know the names of the individual parts of the grass and what its DNA is then this book is for you. There are color photos of the various grasses as well.
GREAT BOOK! Tons of information. Easy-to-use. Lots of color photos and easy to read graphs. Once you start the book you will want to make it a permanent part of the gardening library
It's very helpful even when you're out of the program.it's informative and something you can use as a reference if you're working in the turf industry
The product arrived in great condition and on time. I needed the 9th edition but the 8th edition is fine although some information has been updated.
