I have mixed feelings about this book. If you are feeling timid about starting your own business and you are looking for some motivation then this is a great book for you. The book is very heavy on motivational stories and tidbits. The authors enthusiasm is readily apparent throughout the book and it is almost infectious. However, when it comes to the nuts and bolts of actually starting a business the book is rather dry.The book does have some rudimentary advice about marketing and finding new customers, but other specific topics are barely touched on or missing entirely. One of the biggest reasons I would be interested in a book like this would be to get some solid advice about how to price your services, and the best advice in this book is to purchase the authors video. Unforgivable.
Hard to read because it is all spaced out really wired and huge font. Was obvious he took a 40 page book and made it into like 80 pages. 8 pages was just for thank you's.Great info but can all be found on his your tube channels.Great guy, great info but skip this and just watch his videos. This book is 90% just inspiration and not good info that's on his YouTube.
The book is a very motivational book in which he shares real life experience about how he did it. It is not a book full of technical information about the legal side of it or the financial side but is a book about what you will probably face and how he got through it. You can tell this book wasn't written by someone who is just an analyst with no real world experience. You can feel the passion he has for his family, business, and you the reader from cover to cover.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK! I figured at 70 or so pages long that this would be a quick read and would most likely cover just a few of the basics associated with starting a lawn care company. I wasn't expecting much for $4. Let me tell you, I feel like I wasted $4. I wouldn't call this a book, more like a pamphlet...... The first 36% of the pamphlet (based on the kindle telling me how far i had read) was some nonsense about how I need to do this for me, stop listening to the naysayers and get up and make a business. NOTHING THAT HAD TO DO WITH RUNNING A LAWN COMPANY. The book has more grammatical errors than a 8 year old school paper, not to mention that his use of swears and street language makes me feel like he wrote this for his boys on the corner. I strongly recommend if you are serious about pursuing a lawn care business, to use Google and explore the many reads online. How someone can put such thrown together garbage on the internet and call it a book blows my mind. If there was any way I could get my money back I would, but I would rather make sure that no one else spends their hard earned money on this crap.
I found that Keith's YouTube videos were much more useful than the book.At least Keith took some kind of steps to get his thoughts in print.

I use it daily!!!I went from a one truck, no employee business to a full scale nursery with a lawn crew, landscape maintenance crew, landscape install crew, and design crew. The information in Keith's book provides a solid foundation for any type of business.
I've listened to this book at least 10 times already. The information and dedication that Keith Kalfas provides to his clients and family has no end. Not only does he provide a genuine product he also provides something not many people can.Freedom to live the life you're supposed to live.
Poorly written book grammar errors no structure or flow. If you have a jr high level education this book would probably be great for you. Content is sub par at best.
