I bought this book to complete my Midwest Garden book collection. I thought it is a superb resource for myself being a beginner to intermediate gardener. I really enjoyed the section on composting, as I want to begin doing that this year. The detailed zone maps are my favorite resource, the pictures are lovely, and I love the organization of the content. It is easy to look up a plant description. But most importantly, this book is full of tips and tricks to grow a lovely garden.

I like this book because it gives me all the info for my zone ie. zone 5. and makes gardening easier and enjoyable when you know what you are suppose to do the right way. Iam looking forward to the Spring season to start gardening

AS an intern for the Master Gardeners group this book is very helpful in helping people withtheir questions about flowers, especially the native flowers.

Very pleased with quality of information in this book.I believe it will be reall helpful as I continue expanding my flower beds.

Compared to the original hard bound copy, this paper back was disappointing. The depth of color of the photos was lacking.
