If you want to grow vegetables west of the cascades in the Pacific Northwest this book will provide important information on how to balance the mineral content in your mineral depleted soils to grow the best tasting vegetables you can get.
Although I have an earlier edition to this book, I recommend it for anyone growing edibles west of the Cascades in the Pacific Northwest. Understanding our cold springs, and our typical acidic soil with its strength and weaknesses, this book takes us through how to successfully grow our food in our unique climate. Great for the beginner and well-seasoned gardener alike!

A lot of great information, but not the easiest to navigate. It's more of a reading book than a reference book as it is currently structured.
Excellent information, although a bit dry...not very many pics but lots of info....and that IS, after all, the reason you buy a book, right?
