What I was looking for and then some. I never expected it to cover so many different fields of law. I do wish it had covered more conversational criminal law, maybe about the different forms of punishment. It will help but still not get me as far as I was hoping.
I highly recommend this cheat sheet to any paralegal or Attorney. It is a very clear, percise, and convenient three part, plasitic laminated folder. This quick reference aid helps the novice articulate clearly in Spanish how to ask vital questions in the area of Civil, Administrative, and Criminal Law. It will definitely ease a client's thought when confronted with what they may percise as an unfriendly environment. The average English speaking citizen does not know legal procedures or certain protocols of various Laws or court systems. Imagine what it is for non-English speaking clients. This folder helps the Law Office Worker to guide one who is not English speaking comprehend what most do not regarding the Law and the Legal office visit. I highly recommend this Quickstudy guide and the seller.
I use this all the time. It is a wonderful reference guide. I would recommend it to anyone that is in legal translations.
Though it doesn't cover all the bases and isn't intended to, it does contain valuable information. It is oversized, however, and not the most portable, so I use it strictly at home.
This pamphlet is a great reference tool for someone with a basic understanding of Spanish. It is broken into sections for easy reference.
