This was exactly the step by step guide I needed to start my vertical garden. I will soon be growing my own fruits and veggies (particularly strawberries and tomatoes). I think these are great to start off with. This book has truly helped me through the process. I like that there's images to help you picture what to do. Also, I how the directions are laid out in the book. My goal for my garden is to help me save money and become less stressed because I find that gardening is very therapeutic to me. All in all this was a very informational book on gardening and I'm happy I learned so much.
There is nothing in this book that describes how to build (construct, put together) a 4x4 vertical garden, except for use a pole or some fencing or maybe wire or maybe grow them upside down or buy a ready made system. There is some general gardening teaching.
Look elsewhere if you want any method or strategy or plans for creating a vertical garden. This book points out the benefits of vertical gardening but has no other substance behind it. It's great for getting you to get excited about the idea then leaves with a well have fun finding a system that works for you approach. This is all information I've found on my online travels at no cost to me. Negative review aside vertical gardening is tops please look into it but save your money since this info is out there at no cost.
If people followed this book’s advice, there would be no need to clear forest to make big plantations and it would be very good for the environment. This is a must read for people who have little space but want to produce their own fresh fruit and vegetables or people who just want to practice gardening as a hobby. It offers tips on the best plant to grow with this type of agriculture and tips on how to grow leafy plant, strawberries, herbs and root vegetables. I’m going to try this just for fun

This is a really awesome book! I live in an apartment that has a small patio, but still receives plenty of sunshine, so something like this is perfect for what I'm looking for. I don't have the ability to plant a traditional garden, but this book provided me with all of the information I need to get started with vertical gardening. I really like how it gives tips on the best types of herbs, vegetables, etc. to get started with. I'm definitely going to use this book to get started on my vertical garden. Highly recommend this book for people who love gardening.
Very good book for anyone wanting to create their own garden, a beautiful garden which will help you relax and meditate, or just enjoy its beauty. The guide is straightforward and easy to follow, therefore I highly recommended it both to beginners and everyone else already in gardening.
I really liked this book. I want to put garden in my house but the problem is I don't have a big yard for this. I'm very happy when I found this book because it gives me a great ideas.
