I have found this book really amazing. Now I am able to apply a vareity of techniques at my home. I have come to know about the process of making bread without having an oven. This is really awesome. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone.
I don't identify with the “prepper” or “off the grid” movements but I do have an interest in homesteading and sustainability – which is why I decided to give this book a try after it appeared in my suggested titles.It was a massive disappointment. There's nothing here that you haven't heard before. A basic canning recipe, how to make a solar lantern out of a pre-bought solar light (for real? what's the point?), an uninspired bread recipe...All very tame and cutesy. There's nothing here to really challenge or enlighten. You can find the same information in any decent DIY resource.
I've always been interested in homesteading and self reliance. This book was full of great ideas and suggestions that are easy to implement and understand. I recommend this book to anyone that would like to know more about prepping.
Basically just a tiny book of ten "recipes" or how too projects with sparse information. Better content free online.
