I would have given this more stars but some of the editing was shoddy. Several pages were unfinished and then paragraphs repeated at the top of the next page. The plot and cat characters were right on and so enjoyable.
a continuation of the characters in Cats on the Prowl. these cats are very astute! it 's been said a million times. if you liked book 1 you're gonna love book 2. Ms davis's writing gets tighter and tighter. a good read from an author whose voice is getting stronger.
Nat and his side kick, a pretty, dainty white cat, get involved in solving a crime that puts their feline brains to work. Willow more than proves her value, has to get herself all filthy, not on e, but twice, to bring a criminal to justice. Too bad this valient pair could never give testmony in court!

I am so happy about books with cats. They almost sound human. I rescue cats and get them spayed and neutered. Of course I love all animals. This book was so. Cute and funny. I don't know how the author finds so much material to write them. I am going to read next book part3. The cats are so realistic. Keeps me reading until the end. I find many books boring and they don't keep my attention very well. Keep up the stories.. after all I am cat lover and lover of all animals. God's creatures that he created.
I really enjoy reading cat mysteries, and Nancy C. Davis is quickly becoming a favorite with me. I enjoy the interactions between the cats. A purrfect read for anyone who enjoys cats that solve mysteries.
In a world where civilians forget civility, Law Enforcement Officers seve and protect. In this story Nat, and Willow risk their lives to save someone who attacked them. This is a good story, nicely written.
A great series (I'm hoping there will be more!) A magical balance between police work and cat behavior that is dead on. Humor, excitement and readability. Nice work Ms. Davis.
