It was autumn last year when I went mountain climbing with my friend and her little sister. I'll never forget that cold windy day when we were trapped in a cave, shivering and calling for help. Our line had broken loose and the gales were bitter, dad couldn't make it that evening so we had to wait for him in the morning. By 4am, I swear we were going to get frost bite, when low and behold, stephanie brought out a copy of Dollhouse: A novel- it was a god send! I lit the match and the whole thing went up in flames and kept us warm for another 4 hours!!! I couldn't believe that a novel with no depth or intelligence lasted so long! Thank you Kardashians for saving our lives!
I got the Kardashian girls book Dollhouse and it was boring, predictable, transparent and filled with cotton candy that is stale and unsavory. Don't waste your money. You would be better off reading Winnie The Pooh over again than this garbage.
I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled in this case. This book seems unreadable to me. I've read some books that aren't that great but that still keep the reader interested. This book doesn't even do that. I had to put it down within just a few pages because it was badly written, seemed to have little substance and just didn't hook me at all. Save your money and your time!
This story is a good attempt at "fiction"...I'm a fan of the K's, so I thought for sure I would love this book. It bounces around a bit, and can be hard to follow at times, but it was an okay read otherwise. There was an unanswered question through the story...so I'm kind of hoping for a sequel to find out. Otherwise, it wasn't good, and it wasn't bad...for me, it was a book that I read, while inbetween books.
I have yet to figure out who the target market (or even an accidental market) would be for this book. It is written at a fifth grade level like a romance novel for pre-teens yet it exudes so much filth, obscenity and immorality that no one under 21 should be permitted to read this. Anyone over that age, myself included, should not reduce themselves to tolerating such poorly written garbage in book form. If it sells at all it would only be for the purpose of obtaining the Kardashians' autographs at the book signings. We can only hope the Kardashians use any proceeds they receive from this book to improve their educations. And I am actually a Kardashian fan.
This book is written worse then the Twlight Saga. It lacks any plot, imagination, and character development. Dollhouse is an obvious smoke screen for the authors' true lives. It would have been better if they wrote a tell all autobiography, then trying to pass this off as fiction. Anyone with half a brain can see that the three "heroines" of the novel are Kim, Kourtney, and Khole. Show me an original plot and I'll consider this a well-written book, so far I have found nothing.
THAT IS A VERY SERIOUS BOOK TO READ SO MADE FOR ADULTS. IT IS GREAT STORY LAID OUT. I READ IT IN HOURS AND HOURS OF TIME. BUT FOR OTHER READERS I STAY MORE STEADY SO YOU CAN SEE THE CONCEPT WHAT THE KARDASHIANS WERE TRYING TO WRITE. MAKE THE TITLE FIT WITH IN THOSE CHAPTERS. DOLLHOUSE IS FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS LOVE, OR WHO HAS LOVE, OR IS WANTING TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. READ THE BOOK. IT WILL MAKE SENCE.
This book was really inexpensive ($6 or so) and I got it shipped for free. It arrived within 2 days in a fairly good condition. I don't care what other people has to say about this book but I am really enjoying it. I have been a big fan of the kardashian sisters and wanted to know about their childhood, upbringing and all that. The nice thing about this book is that you can read the story from the perspectives of three sisters, Kamille, Kass, and Kyle (read Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) and their mother Kat (Kris Jenner). The story line is relatively simple. I don't think there is a strong plot or anything. It is just about their lives and how they got to where they are. Btw this book is meant to entertain not to educate or make you ponder about the meaning of life. So, if you are looking for something meaningful or philosophical, read something else.
