This is a great book! It lives up to the title in that what it is named is that it is exactly what it is about. This book covers a variety of techniques for decorating your dollhouse. Painting, stucco and using small photos to make an engaging print room is one of my favorites and just to name a few.I loved this book so much that I bought a copy for my shelf. This is a book that you'll refer to more than once, whether in casual reading or for inspiration. It is chock full of detailed color photos to engage every reader with step-by-step instructions to make the ideas a reality in your dollhouse or diorama.
This book is a MUST have for anyone interested in dollhouses and miniatures. This is the best dollhouse book I have come across so far - from the color detailed pictures to the instructions - this book is by far the best.
Best purchase I have made since I started playing with miniatures. Great photo's.. very concise instructions & advice.. it's a must have!
This book had many ideas I never would have thought. I hope my friend(that received this gift) was as impressed as I am.
Very good reference book for anyone making a dollhouse, BUT, in MUCH smaller than listed here page count wise - listed as 2425 pages - WAY smaller at 159 pages, including the index, glossary, etc. A lot of good information in here on completing the exterior and the interior (roofing, flooring, exterior wall finishing, etc.) and some phenomenal pictures of some magnificent houses. Even though It is a smaller book, I am very pleased and would recommend to anyone who wants to add some very personalized (non-kit) finishing to their doll house.
