LOVE the book- I am new to origami. It's really fun, and these are beautiful designs. The glue does not work at all. I'm using double-sided tape instead... Which I had to go out and purchase after I opened the kit. It would be better if the kit included double-sided tape in lieu of the terrible glue stick.
When the decorations are nice and the paper dose make it look pretty you will need to live/ work at a place were you get good sunlight. The glue however sucks. It dose not help the papers stick together at all.
These stars are a lovely paper folding craft. However the paper provided with the kit are not square and some of the paper was so off that I could not get the lines to match up. I have been folding origami for about 25 years so I am very experienced with paper folding. The designs in this book are great but the paper provided in the kit isn't not great to work with.
