I confess. I have never learned to do anything on our computer. Any help I ever needed I could easily get from my two teenaged sons. Well, now the second is on his way to college in the fall and Mother Dear suddenly realized she will be home alone with this machine!!! EK! In a panic I found this handy book at the library (and am now in the process of getting a copy for myself). It IS simple and explains common every day processes in a manner that I have been able to duplicate myself. WOW! If this 50+ Mom can do it, so can you.
Learn something new. Was recommended by Holland America digital workshop. Greatest thing I invested in. Recommended and purchased XP Plain and Simple to my friend in Hawaii.
very informative and worth the purchase, by the time I got around to the programing and use of the books I purchased there was a new version.
The book really does help. It's very basic if thats what you want. It lets you know the skinny.
It is great. Allows me to become familiar with my computer with the use of the pictures, allowing me to understand the computereze.
For years I have tried to do things in XP that other people have told me how to do without much luck. This book makes it simple.
