Very good book, in comparison. Unusual format in that it's broken up by categories--shrubs, annuals, etc.--then under each category, they give you month-to-month do's & don'ts. Deadheading & pruning are always useful info & for the most part, it does give you the basics; a few "subjects" give more detail. I found almost all of my plants in there, & it was more beneficial than previous books in that it focuses on this particular area. It does have some photos, but is more fyi. Bestbook I've found.
Arrived in a timely fashion. This book is great. My copy is dog-eared, high-lighted and never leaves our coffee table because I'm always referring to it. I got this one for my plant-loving aunt as a birthday present.
a great help to keeping the different parts of my garden on schedule, sometimes life moves to fast to remember everything without a reference.
Tells you month-by-month by plant types. Even has pond sections. I have found this book very helpful.
Was on her Christmas list. It is interesting in the fact that it does tell what and when to plant, trim back, etc for each different month.
