This product is everything it is advertised. I have an advantage as my instructor is Dr. Washburn, one of the authors. The text is simple to read with plenty of illustrations to explain the concepts. The example problems are quite helpful and can be used as a guide to begin solving the End-of-Chapter problems. One thing that would make the text more useful would be solutions to the odd (or even) problems. Dr. Washburn provides these to the class which helps to assure you are on the right track. One side note related to this book, don't buy it through .com. The seller canceled my order, after posting that the book had been shipped. After three weeks of waiting, I discovered this fact from a refund to my credit card as the seller failed to tell me. Poor, poor customer service!

As far as reading goes it's pretty boring, even though the subject is interesting. It's heavy on equations that eventually get summed up into one general equation. The examples are better than anything from Hibbeler.

as a college student I have ot buy books, I dont really get a choice. but this is really a great book. and has to be one of the better text books I have ever used.

Great book for traffic engineers, but there is no confirmed solution to check your answers.

I learned

Good book . it is exactly What I ordered. However, a book doesn't make a course, a professor does. My professor utilizes this book flawlessly

Bought this for my sister's engineering course. Great price.

Good
