This book is not only for gardeners, but for artists as well. The stories behind the artists and the way the art is connected to the gardens is truly amazing. It's wonderful to see that there are so many creative individuals that care about garden spaces. Having met some of the artists at the recent book signing in Boothbay Maine makes this book extra special. Outstanding job by the writer and the photographer!
First let me say, I have not finished reading this book. But, everything I have read is very interesting. The reader can delve into the artists' gardening, their lives and their artwork. Being an artist, myself, I doubly appreciate the artist's artwork, their art theory and how they extend this expertise into their gardening. An excellent addition to your gardening or art library.
I suppose you could read this book in many ways. For me, it's about the visual pattern of a garden, related to the other artistic work that its creator does as well. Great illustrations, engaging text, and no bad news about the state of this world!
Having worked with Judy on artistic projects I am eager to get this book. If her usual energy, and creative abilities are in these pages, , send it on!
