A really nice selection of easy to prepare fish, beef and chicken dishes with a Hawaiian influence. Even a couple of Spam ones!!! Easy enough for a novice cook to prepare. Gotta admit there were a couple ingredients, such as Ti and taro leaves that would be difficult to get in the mainland. Others such as Hawaiian salt need to be ordered through or World Market. I noticed a couple of other ingredients that would need to be acquired from a Asian market.
My cookbooks that I bought in Hawaii were lost, so I was very happy to see this free e- book offered. The recipes are clear and easy to understand with most ingredients easy to find. I have made several of the recipes and all of them bring back memories of great meals eaten while on Maui.
This cook book is filled with delicious, yet simple recipes. I have always wanted to try cooking some Hawaiian food but I'm not a great cook. This book lays out some easy to follow, tasty meals that even I can follow.
Chicken Adobo and Huli Huli Chicken are my favorite. These are great recipes made by a native hawaiian. When are you going to make another book? I'll buy it too!
