The book is ok but if you have taken the course before, or have ALS training, then the fold out algorithms that come with the book are all you really need. I recomend the "Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care," by AHA (ISBN #978-0-87493-540-0). It condenses and incorparates PALS and ACLS into a small spiral flip book.
I should not have boughten this PALS book. It was completely out of date. What a waste of money and time.
