This is basically the same information as on the website. The book assumes some knowledge, which is odd because it starts telling you each step to take then as you move through the process of building the light it begins giving steps that only a person familiar with electricity would understand (as they are given.) The book is short and offers no information that is not easily available for free on the internet.
Poorly formatted, hard to follow, and a duplicate of a lot of information available on the web. I thought this would be a fun project but it's really just a guide on connecting LEDs in a series. There are few considerations taken to this being a practical source of light, the quality of the light, or to safety. Ultimately this is not a usable guide for doing anything but building the most basic of light sources, and even for that I'd like to see more information.
Missing a whole lot of information. No information about making your own replacement fluorescent lamps. I'm sure the information in this mini pamphlet is covered in basic electricity 101. Should be free. On a positive, you can make your calculations using basic arithmetic.
WORST book ever. Don't even waste your time. All the info is found free online and you can see way better tutorials on youtube...
PLEASE don't waste your money on this silly book.
I'm cheap, this book is cheap, the taught product is cheap, unless you are a millionaire ( or think you are ), this is a good way to save and work a hobby at the same time. i.e. cheap is good. LEDs are the next best brain child and this book shows a couple great starting places, 12v & 110v light sources that for now are too costly for me to replace. Besides, I am learning some great stuff.
