Being a complete idiot when it comes to PC Basics for Windows 7, this book has been a wonderful addition to my "technical" library. I would recommend highly to anyone who is struggling with Windows 7. I have taught myself everything I've needed to know (so far) from this book.
Bought this as a gift for my half brother.He has gotten knowledge from this in a clear and easy to understandfashion. The Idiot's Guide to Whatever are better than the Moron'sGuides to Whatever.Wanted a SpongeBob type of graphic walk through but no suchanimal exists now.Learned Windows through a FloppyDisc Bob graphical book made forchildren about 7 years and up. Learned well.Learned Windows on a Mac with Virtual PC and This FloppyDisk Bob book.

Very good book to have. Answers most every question one can have.
Print too light; graphics often unreadable. Might be somewhat informative, but needless effort toget it = put aside. This "review" is of little use, since Windows 7 is now old stuff
