I remember this book very well. It was beautiful and haunting. One of my favorites as a child from the late seventies, early eighties.
Sean loved this book. One of my favorite middle school authors. He doesn't usually take to reading but so excited when he asked to read another C.S. Adler. If you kid doesn't like to read you have to try this author and my favorite for kids Max Lucados You are special and Because I love you. These are awesome inspirational moral lessons for any child and adult to read. It's like religion class without them realizing it.
