If you are in MSU CE341 with Dr. Ingle and don't have any previous notes, you will REALLY need this. You will be able to use this as open notes during exams. I hope I had more time to read through it. This was the first time I ever read a CE book.
Myself and my colleague are both currently final year civil engineering students at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and have been using this book for the past year. This textbook was required for a transportation planning class even though the textbook is over 10 years old with no newer edition since 2000.So far, we've only covered about 2 chapters from the book. Going through this book, I've found NUMEROUS and NUMEROUS of calculation errors, number placement errors from the sample calculations and examples. It's quiet hard to follow the textbook when you have to fix the contents so frequently.
