I definitely needed this book. As someone who is embarking upon becoming a WEDDING PLANNER, I need all the help I can get. I read through it, and Baker really had some strong arguments and sound advice. I have a much better grasp of what I'm getting myself into now. I just wish I would have had this book at my fingertips when I actually planned my own wedding. It would have saved a lot of heartache and headaches.

Throughout the book is "as stated by WeddingWire" or "according to The Knot", nothing original in here at all. Don't waste your time or money!! The old saying "You can't judge a book by it's cover", does not apply here. The horrible cartoon cover is very fitting for this horribly written guide that is an obvious attempt for the writer to claim authorship and an "expert" status. Her friends and family must have given her the high marks in kindness. I am not a friend or family, so this is the truth! The guide is a complete waste of time! If you are such a great officiant, then stick with what you know, and stop trying to be an "author" and talk about parts of the wedding you obviously have no clue about.
