I was hoping for a more Orthodox wedding guide. This book is largely written from the Reform perspective. That being said, there are some wonderful and quite beautiful suggestions in it. Some of the suggested Blessings and Verses for the Bride and Groom are lovely. I was also hoping for more advice for a second marriage between and (converted) widow and a divorced, born Jew. I realize this is not a common situation but friends have told me that it is more common than I might think. So, where is the advice?
I have purchased a couple of books for my Jewish wedding, and this by far was the easiest, most user friendly book.
It was a gift for my Fiancee. She seems to like the book. I'm glad I bought it for her.
