This book was a disappointment. I wanted help in writing a toast for my daughter's wedding, and although there were sections on that subject, the book was more like a wedding planner. The subtitle "The Complete Guide" (displayed down by the author's name) did not prepare me for such a generalized book with toasts only being a part of the content.
We bought this to help us out for our daughter's wedding. We don't like it when people just get up at weddings and ramble on. This books gave guidelines and toasting ideas that we could use. I recommend it.
The book can't write or deliver the toast/speech for you, but it can help you plan and navigate the drama. It also gives lots of hints in wedding planning, which can come in handy.
This book helped me a ton. It's useful more that just making a wedding toast too. I was clueless about weddings in general.
