For a short book, there are lots of interesting recipes in here. Most are simple to make, and are appealing to different palates. Great for parties, picnics, and, of course, tailgating! Everything from appetizers to ribs to barbequed crock pot chicken to interesting baked dishes which can be cut into bars (main dish and dessert).A couple of surprises sneak in: Minty hot chocolate? Sounds great!One note: the formatting of this book on the Kindle is not great, and I almost downgraded my rating because of this ... it should be fixed. In many cases, the recipe title is on one page, and the recipe begins on the next. I'll probably download it to my PC which in the past has enabled me to copy a single recipe into another format for printing.(*** Update: 9.13.11 *** The formatting is not much better on the PC, but you can copy a recipe. If you highlight part of the page, you will get a gray bar which allows you to click on a copy button. You may have to copy it in sections, but eventually you will get the entire recipe and be able to print it on one page. I hope this is helpful.)Enjoy!
This is a very "well done" cookbook. Easy to read and as per its name, a great cookbook for tailgating. There are many really good, easy to prepare recipes in this book. Thanks for book and opportunity to read, use and review it.
Just FYI, this has about fifteen pages in it and is definitely not worth the money. At least I didn't pay for postage!
I got this as a free e-book and found the recipes to be okay at best. There is not much original in here and I would much rather find recipes on pinterest.
There was not much to it for the price. It was just a few recipies and really not worth the cost.
Gives you hints tips and recipes, great for the beginning tailgater to get a starting point, a seasoned tailgater would get a laugh out of this book
The Gooseberry Patch always delivers. I got this cookbook real cheap and it included some oldies and some new ideas as well. I have made other GB cookbook purchases as well and have been happy every time.
This a wonderful book that I would recommend for anyone interested in adding to their kitchen lbrary. Very easy to read and follow recipies.
