Full of information not readily available anywhere else that I know of and besides, it is meant for a Canadian climate where native plants are rarely available in nurseries around here. Excellent and informative content by an extremely talented and knowledgeable author. A great gift for the garden enthusiast.
Not very practical for areas other than the authors location.

Beresford-Kroeger is a scientist and wise woman. I'd recommend reading anything she has written. Here it's a pleasure to hear her planning for gardens.
I purchased this book for my parents. They loved it, my dad is always looking for gardening ideas so I got him this book.
