Wood plays such an important part in our lives.Its great that the author has such a passion for the subject.I remember from years ago in high school and woodworking class.This book brought back alot of memories of that.I found the chapter on different grades of wood very interesting!Safety tips and tricks are also very important.Working with wood is great fun but also safety must always be a consideration.I also loved the 2 starter projects which are both challenging and also designed to help a person succeed and gain confidence.Bottom line on this book-I love the passion the author has brought to the table on the subject of workworking!
This is a great book .This book has some great steps and tips for a beginner . It explains the different tools and wood types, and what you use them all for. The book is very well explained. This book tells you how to build small things to bigger things out of wood. Very Interesting book to read. Thanks!!!
Woodwork needs lots off precautions because one single mistake may produce the permanent defect in the running project material. I work in a timber industry, After carefully reading each topic , i can say that the details given in this book are reliable and you can start practicing the examples given in the book. Well Wood working is not an easy task. The following lines from this book attracts my attentions "All sorts of wildlife might diminish if synthetic pesticides are overused for a long time".

This is one of a kind book on Woodworking! I totally like the ideas written in this book. It is simple and very useful for me as a beginner. I like the BONUS book also. I am hoping to have it on my Kindle someday.I will be sharing this to my husband for he loves woodworking. Especially now we have an ongoing project! The styles and techniques are awesome!
I can't really find anything positive to say about this book. A single web page on the topic provides more information and typically includes photographs on the subject. Try some Ana White videos or her website and skip this digital trash.
