This is a collection of paragraphs that repeat the same point, sometimes verbatim, throughout the book. Good editing could cut the content and price in half.

I'm glad I bought the Kindle version of this book, because if I had paid the hard cover price I would have returned it. While it has some good information about uses for vinegar, it is poorly written, badly organized, and redundant in its presentation. The same information is presented over, and over, and over. If properly organized and edited this book would probably be less than one third its present size. Each chapter states the same information all over again. After a while you just give up.

This book has a lot of good suggestions, although there is a lot of repetition! I just keep it as a reference, but I probably could have found all the information I needed online somewhere I am sure if I would have googled Vinegar!!

This covers a few recipes but mostly medicinal and cosmetic uses for vinegar, such as facial masks and skin softeners, cleaning uses and how to make homemade vinegar.

The Vinegar Anniversary Book, ISBN: 9781623970000, e- book b Emily Thacker is apparently a blending of "the contents of Emily Thacker's four books on vinegar into one big book". As such, it is the repetitious presentation of information about the types of vinegar, their uses for cleaning, disinfecting, uses from folklore tales, medical uses and even as a component of one's diet that, if `properly used' will be effective in weight control. Though I liked this book, and found it somewhat informative, it just didn't stand up to the hype. I was looking for information about how to use vinegar for many cures, dieting tricks, nutrition ideas, and cleaning methods that I did not already know. Instead, I found it talked more about different vinegars, and how vinegar is made, plus some pretty widely known "secrets" about using it. I was disappointed. I've wanted to order this book from full-page newspaper info-ads for a long time. I'm relieved that I ordered the Kindle version from so that I'm not out too much money on it.

Never knew there were so many wonderful uses for vinegar. The book is presented in a straightforward manner and easy to follow. Short history as well as time tested and unique uses. Yes, I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about amazing vinegar.

Was interesting how to use for different things, but too much info regarding history in my opinion. Would not buy.
