Clear measurements with conversion to our metric system. If the ingredient is an irish coined word then Kevin defines the name that we are familiar with. Pictures are lovely and bring back many memories of celebrations with my irish clan. Only question I have in all the irish cookbooks that are published in the last few years is, garlic ? (don't ever remember anyone on either side of the family cooking with or mentioning garlic.)
Can't wait to make the lemon cured pork belly! It's the reason why I bought the book in the first place, but am discovering other great recipes.
Have enjoyed the recipes and the stories that accompany them; photos are beautiful; Ireland is a lovely place. I watch him on TV also -
Good recipes and writing- great photos. This book offers many new ideas for old favorites- we've enjoyed all the recipes I've tried.
Excellent cookbook for easy, light, and delicious Irish recipes. The Irish usually are not well known for their cuisine, but this cookbook may change your mind. Nicely laid out and good images. You can also see his cooking show on PBS and follow along.
Kevin Dundon is my new favorite chef. I bought this book solely for the orange pudding (haven't made it yet as oranges are not in season), but there are so many more wonderful and interesting dishes in this book and I look forward to trying each and every one of them. I will be buying more of his cook books and will hopefully be able to visit his restaurant in Orlando, FL. Buy this cookbook definitely because of the orange pudding recipe, but enjoy the bread, soup, vegetable and meat dishes also.
I want to try so many recipes from this book......it will keep me busy for a long while. Great desserts!!
Great recipes, beautifully illustrated, simply explained and easy to follow...I loved it, and will definitely look for his next cookbook!
