I have enjoyed this whole storyline. I wait for each to come out. Its kinda like visiting your kid sister's farm!! Very geared to Young Adults and children but as a person who rode all my life, its like a re-visit to things past. Just silly fun.
Another fun filled episode of Emily Dickenson's life with horses. She gets a little distracted with Jordan standing her up and Dakota, Mickey's new friend being at Fox Run but she still wins a silver cup on her beloved Bluebird and gets Ari through his first show. A project horse named Four arrives - will he get a real name in the next installment ...
In the story, the main character, Emily, is beginning to make more mature decisions. Emily doesn't always react maturely to each situation, but her critical thinking skills are improving her relationships. The best part of the story was when she looked at old photos of her family. It seemed like she gained a little insight into her past, which helped her with a new girl at the barn. I gave it a four star, since the last few chapters were skimpy in content; making the ending weak. Although the ending wasn't strong, I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
Totally wicked awesome and I don't think I will make it waiting for the next book!!!!!! Must get must read
Claire Svendsen's books are captivating from the very beginning to the end. Although there always seems to be a few misspellings, I thoroughly enjoy reading these books.
