I like all her books. Have been following them for quite awhile and grab each one as it becomes available. As I am an older adult they take me back to being a kid and doing all the horsey things I did when I grew up in the Maryland countryside. They are always correct in the horse vernacular so a youngster would actually learn some things if they desired.
In the last book, Claire Svendsen touched on grieving and I dealt with my own level of grief when the horse I ride injured his eye. He's been in the large animal hospital for several weeks. It struck a nerve and I stopped reading the series for several months. Now that my horse is back home, I decided to read this book with a renewed attitude. It kept my interest enough that I completed the book in one afternoon, but the storyline still has some far reaching attitudes for the main characters. Emily's dad is very inconsistent with his actions; same with her mom. Even so, I will most likely keep reading to see what happens to Emily's riding career.
These are the best books EVER I really enjoy reading them although I HATE having to wait a WHOLE month in between books lol can't wait for the next one!!! Happy writing 😄
I've read every one of these books so far and can't wait for the next one! Each book seems to be better than the one before.
I think this one is one of my favorites. I loved the total change in Emily's attitude and the exciting adventure she had!
