I got this book too, and found it very helpful in explaining the driving principles. It has good pictures to explain in deatail how to hook up the harness and the different harness point. I've just started learning to drive my mini and this is a good learning tool.
I can understand and relate to what the author is saying. It is very helpful and what she says does work! I am still in the process of reading it. My husband is making our mini a rope halter. My husband made a special trip to a marine store to purchase the soft poly rope for our mini. Next spring I will set up a round pen as instructed in the book.
