I did not use this book too much as I had Vista removed from my computer and am back to Windows XP since that is what the technical college I attend has on their computers. I found it confusing to try to do my homework when I had Vista. Also when I got the book, I could not get the disk that is to be used with it so was unable to perform the operations taught in the book.
This book is great for beginners. It has simple, easy to follow instructions. If you have used Windows Vista for work or play you may already know many of the functions. However, there are quick tricks and official terms that are very helpful.
I found this book a really good introductin to Vista, It had alot of pictures and complete step by step interactions and descriptions that made learning from a distance extremley easy. I would definatly recommend this book.
It is a decent book to learn Vista... It is a school textbook for me.
