This is an excellent book. It's very interesting and was the first book of it's kind that I have read. I gives color and light suggestions for different environments such as schools, office spaces, etc. It gives detailed scientific information about why these colors and types of light are good to use in these environments that is easy to understand. I think this book is a must have for all interior designers who care about the effects the environment they design will have on the people that will be in it!
In general, the book has all that curious one may wish to know. It misses practical guides on how to establish color plans or what one should start with. Literal application of what is advised would result in all-the-same designs. It misses charts, or other tools to use in practice. However it gives good understanding of light and color issues and stimulate for further research and study.
very in depth overview of the psychology of colors. I am still reading it so this review is incomplete. Would love to review it some more when I am done.
