The author is an architect and photographer. I don't know if he has done any buildings, but this is the eighth book that I have purchased on his camera work, all of them excellent in capturing the essence of the subject of his study--whether it be Shaker (Stillness & Light), Scandinavia (Nordic Light), or how light effects structures (The Architecture of Natural Light). In this case he looks--with his color camera--at the religious buildings of Le Corbusier, the Switzerland-born French architect. Wonderful!
