I am so frustrated right now I could scream. I've just spent over an hour trying to print out ONE pattern in original size. Who has a printer at their house that can print an 11 X 17 piece of paper????? Not me, that's for sure. I finally had to pull the PDF file into Photoshop, then print all four pages piece by piece - guessing at what settings I should use to end up with a complete page that I could tape together. (If anyone out there knows an easier way, PLEASE let me know!!) If you have access to an 11X 17 printer, this is probably a great book. The animals are really cute and the instructions appear to be clear, but it took so darned long to print the pattern that now I don't feel like working on my project so I'm not sure about that yet. I'll update my review after I've made a few animals, if I can force myself to go through the time-waster of printing the darned patterns out. I suppose I could take them somewhere and pay to have them printed, but considering I've purchased dozens of online patterns that can be printed on regular letter size paper then easily taped together, it's ridiculous that the ones for this book take so much effort. I wish I had read through more of the reviews before purchasing this. I might have still gotten the book, but at least I would have been prepared for the headache of printing the patterns.Update: I have now cut out quite a few of the patterns and have sewn several. The animals turned out nicely, but the instructions are NOT clear. As another reviewer said, you definitely have to look closely at the pictures. It would also have been nice if the author had given descriptions of the exact eyes that were used to make the animals in the pictures. I really liked the ones shown and wanted to use the same ones in most cases.
