The author is truly a very creative woman. When you see the treats she makes using cookies, cupcakes, candies, etc. You will marvel as these simple ingredients turn into very extra special snacks.Katie Wyllie supplies the reader with information about the tricks, tools, and techniques you will use to make these treats. There are six categories of treats. For example included in the "under the sea treats" heading are directions/recipes for making cute Oreo crabs, Oreo frogs, Oreo turtles, and even Oreo pirates. The author does an excellent job of supplying the reader with the step by step directions and includes color photographs of the project.As I looked through the book, I envisioned hours of fun with my girls making the treats together. This book is packed full of the most *adorable* treats for kids! As I flipped through it with my sons, they said, "Oooh I want to make that one!" on every single page. The photos are beautiful and all of the directions are easy to follow. Looks like we'll be doing a lot of baking in the near future! :)
My kids love helping me in the kitchen, so they were so excited when we got this book. They love flipping through the pages and picking the next dessert to make. All of the recipes are kid friendly which is perfect for my 4 and 6 year old!
Such a darling cookbook for kids! I love that each recipe has easy to follow instructions and big, bold photos. My boys want to make every treat in the book. Dessert time just got a lot more fun at our house!
